I enjoyed growing up in the small mid-western town of Bedford, Indiana, which is a 15 minute drive to Indiana University. I attended IU until I got a position as flight attendant and flew to Europe and the mideast, thereby seeing many places and cultures that still amaze me. I started my real estate career as a rental agent in two upscale neighborhoods in Columbus, Ohio, which gave me a lot of experience in what was to come. Education has always been important to me so I returned to col... lege to receive a BS in Psychology at Kennesaw State University in Kennesaw Georgia. Luckily and accidentally got a new homes agent position and loved it. You always hear that if you find something you like, the work is easy. And it was!! After working with Ashton Woods in Atlanta and selling out two neighborhoods, I joined the sales team at BridgeMill, a master-planned community of over 2,800 homes, in Canton Georgia. I loved the fast pace where the day was never long enough. I liaised between 15 builders and prospective buyers to facilitate the purchase of homes. BridgeMill was the number #1 selling community in the 14 county area of Atlanta for the seven years I was there. When I moved to Sebring I decided to open my own real estate company, the Highlands Realty Group, again working with resales in addition to new homes. I did all the broker duties in addition to sales - answered inquiries and provided information to real estate agents, lenders, appraisers, and builders as well as distributed appropriate paperwork while fulfilling quote requests to deliver excellent customer support. I joined Berkshire Hathaway Home Services to work with another new home builder, as well as resales, in a gated community in Avon Park. I continue bringing all my skills and abilities to help buyers and sellers as I continue this path with Paradise Real Estate International.
